Application Developer
at Synergy One in Tampa, Florida
The developer designs, develops, evaluates, and modifies computer systems in order to solve bio-informatics, business, scientific or engineering problems in the support of research and development. The Developer analyzes existing systems and formulates logic for new systems. A developer also devises logical procedures, prepares flow charts, performs coding, tests, and debugs programs. The individual will provide input for the documentation of new or existing programs, and determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. The developer will also contribute to decisions on policies, procedures, expansion strategies, and product evaluations. The developer utilizes best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver applications that meet business and technical requirements. This position involves working on projects ranging from web enabled applications to object oriented architecture & frameworks for integrating enterprise business intelligence systems supporting internal and external customers. While the project leader or manager will provide general project direction, the individual must exercise his/her own judgment within loosely defined parameters. The developer is responsible for providing technical direction and guidance to consultants, clients and other team members. The individual will, on some projects, develop components of a larger application and will work closely with other developers to integrate the pieces into a seamless system.
Requirements:
Has 5+ years demonstrated experience developing applications
Has experience with the following development methodologies: Waterfall, agile, SCRUM
Is proficient in at least two of the following languages/technologies: .NET,C#, ASP.NET (3.5 or 4.0), WPF, Silverlight, Flash, AJAX
Has 2+ years experience in healthcare
Development in Sharepoint a plus
Experienced in object oriented development. An understanding of MVC or MVVM architecture desired
Good communication skills
